Dr. Sharon Knoll

Dr. Knoll completed her orthodontic training at Rutgers Dental School (formerly UMDNJ - New Jersey Dental School), where she also earned a Master of Science degree in Oral Biology.  While in dental school, she published articles in the fields of both Orthodontics and Periodontics.  She attended Rutgers Dental School on a Dean's Merit Scholarship for her Doctor of Medical Dentistry degree, where she graduated in the top 5% of her class and was elected into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society.  She received her Bachelor's degree magna cum laude from Yeshiva University.  She is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Mid-Atlantic Society of Orthodontists and the American Dental Association.

Dr. Knoll grew up in Teaneck and had her early education in the local schools. She moved back to town after getting married. She could not imagine raising her family anywhere else. She has five children that she raises with the help of her husband of over 20 years. She is completely devoted to Teaneck and the local community. As soon as it was possible, Dr. Knoll made it her mission to practice Orthodontics in Teaneck.

Dr. Knoll began seeing patients in Teaneck in 2007, but has over 20 years of clinical orthodontic experience.  As many of her patients will attest to, she has a reputation for providing excellent orthodontic care with a gentle touch. Living so close to her office, makes her readily available to treat any and all emergencies that may arise. She makes her patients feel as comfortable as possible. She is dedicated to taking the time to explain her treatment plans and welcomes any questions you may have about your treatment.

Dr. Leah Friedman

Dr. Friedman completed her orthodontic training at Harvard University, where she also earned a Master of Medical Science degree in Oral Biology.  While at Harvard, she was awarded a research grant from the Northeastern Society of Orthodontists.  She attended New York University on a Dean's Merit Scholarship for her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, where she graduated in the top 5% of her class and was elected into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society.  She received her Bachelor's degree magna cum laude from Barnard College and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa.  She is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists and the Mid-Atlantic Society of Orthodontists.

Dr. Friedman has over 20 years of clinical orthodontic experience.  She has a reputation for providing excellent orthodontic care with a gentle touch and a kind demeanor and is eager to bring her skills and experience to our patients.  She is dedicated to taking the time to explain her treatment plans and welcomes any questions you may have about your treatment.

Dr. Friedman resides in Teaneck, NJ with her husband and three children.  In addition to spending time with her family, Dr. Friedman enjoys traveling and all things creative, including painting, papercutting, and pottery.
